New Kuta Golf
New Kuta Golf is an 18-hole, par-72 course on Jl. Raya Uluwatu in Pecatu, within the Pecatu Indah Resort on the Bukit Peninsula. Designed by Ronald Fream, David Dale and Kevin Ramsey, it is perched above a limestone cliff overlooking Dreamland and Balangan beaches, 20 minutes' drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport. From Hole 11 the ocean frames the next six holes. The clubhouse holds a restaurant, bar, spa and sunset lookout tower, alongside a driving range, pro shop and golf academy.
The whole course is carved across the Pecatu limestone headland, 150 metres above the sea — eighteen holes that hug the cliff line, with the surf breaks of Dreamland and Balangan below. Few first tees on earth look quite like this.
Your round comes with a buggy, a caddie who reads the ocean wind, and insurance — and it's barely twenty minutes from Ngurah Rai airport. Mornings are calmest; book the early tee before the trade winds build.
