Aoku is a Japanese cocktail speakeasy on the second floor of Dahana restaurant on Jl. Petitenget in Seminyak. Led by Japanese bartender Kensho Hirai and part of the Kaminari Group, it serves bespoke cocktails that balance Japanese precision with Bali's natural warmth, using ingredients sourced from Jatiluwih and local Bali farms. NOW! Bali reports that its name, Japanese for 'blue', stands for tranquillity, depth and connection, and that drinks come with refined Japanese dining plates in a room of leather booths and armchairs.
